Go Kasey Khane!!!

Monday, October 16, 2006
Kasey Khane WOO HOO I went to the Lowes Motor Speedway for the Bank of America 500 Race and OMG I had THE best time of my life!!!!!!

Despite the fact I froze my buns off I had a BLAST, and to top it all off Kasey Khane WON!!!! WOOT We were located on Turn 4 which was the best place to be besides sitting at the start/finish line! lol

We left at 2pm and wanted to be there for the robot wars that began at 5pm but the traffic was so bad that we literally did not get to our seats until about 5:30pm. It usually takes us 45 min. to go to Charlotte!!! Next time, we either go the night before or leave first thing in the morning!

Kasey and his burnout after the win!!! Kasey Kahne burning out after the win!!!

And lets not forget about Junior who did an AWESOME job leading the race for several laps as well and then finishing in 4th place!!!

4 Days until the BIG day!!!

Tuesday, October 10, 2006
OMG I can't believe it, I only have FOUR MORE DAYS until I head down to Lowes Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC for the big Bank of America 500!!! I just can't wait, this is one of the biggest things I have ever wanted to do, is go see my TWO favorite drivers IN PERSON!!!

Its a 1.5 mile quad oval track and motion pictures such as "Days of Thunder," "Speedway" and "Stroker Ace" and even music videos like Tracy Lawrence's "If the Good Die Young" have been filmed at the speedway.

*Does the happy dance*

Now as far as what I've been doing...I've been really busy IRL its that time of the year when the holidays are just around the corner and I am trying to get caught up before I become overwhelmed.

I also heard from an old friend the other day on ICQ...wow that was awesome to just be able to sit and talk about whats been going on and the latest with him and of course what I have been up to. I have come to the conclusion if your "so-called friend" stops talking to ya over petty crap...they weren't ever a friend to begin with and in my eyes are very selfish! I am just thankful that I do have the TRUE friends that I have now....we stand beside one another during the ups and downs of daily life.

Other then that, thats about all I have to say for now...if ya want something more personal about me you can read it on my other blog! ;)

Fall...

Wednesday, October 04, 2006
This is one of my most favorite times of the year.

Fall; the temps outside are amazing, the leaves on the trees are beginning to change, the smell of apples and pumpkin pie is in the air and soon the doorbell will be ringing with trick or treaters. :)

The fair is always a huge reminder that fall is here as well. I went to the fair yesterday and had a great time!!! I will be going again on Thurs. night to see a demolition derby.

I have never been so happy as I am right now....YOU make me this way!!! ;)
